"A witty, charming, delight of a book! Brings
all the steam and top-notch banter I could wish
for in a historical romance."

Meet Rachel

Hello! I’m Rachel Griffiths, and I write gleeful romps set in Regency England. My dad, a huge Georgette Heyer fan, handed me my first romance and I’ve had at least one on my nightstand ever since.

I was a children’s book editor in New York for many years, and I also read nonfiction, thrillers, memoir, and - basically I’m drowning in books.

When I’m not sneaking off to read, I’m on the hunt for fossils (not-even-humble brag: my kids and I found a Megalodon tooth), dreaming of cake, or exploring Brooklyn with my husband and two sons.

Oh, damn.

He was in trouble now.

One hint of bravery from Anna—one hint that she needed to be brave—and his chest exploded. He wanted to bash things for her. He wanted to throw his cape over a damned puddle to spare her slippers.

As if Anna cared two bits about slippers.”
